For licensed lenders

Your license. Our capital, technology, and operations.

Copper Hive Group partners with licensed lending operators in emerging markets. We bring the full operating stack — capital, technology, underwriting, and servicing — structured as a long-term partnership.

What We Look For

We seek licensed lending operators in emerging markets who bring regulatory standing, local market knowledge, and an established institutional presence. The ideal partner holds an active consumer-lending license, maintains a relationship with local regulators, and is looking for an operating partner to deploy capital and technology at scale.

We are not seeking to acquire licenses or to operate independently of local partners. Our model depends on alignment: the licensed entity maintains its regulatory obligations, and Copper Hive provides the resources and infrastructure to build a performing lending business under that license.

The Partnership Model

What we bring

  • Lending capital structured for multi-market deployment, funding the book from day one
  • Cloud-native loan management system with mobile-first origination and real-time decisioning
  • Proprietary credit scoring combining bureau data with alternative signals — device telemetry, transactional patterns, telco behaviour
  • Automated collections waterfall from SMS reminders through field collection via partner networks
  • KYC/AML integrated into origination, automated sanctions screening, data localisation, and regulatory reporting

What the partner brings

  • Active consumer-lending license in the target jurisdiction
  • Established regulatory relationships and compliance history
  • Local market knowledge and institutional presence

Our Commitments

Transparency
Full visibility into portfolio performance, operational metrics, and financial reporting. Daily operational dashboards, weekly portfolio summaries, monthly board-level reporting. No opaque structures.
Compliance Posture
All operations adhere to local regulatory requirements and international standards for AML, KYC, and data protection. Automated sanctions screening and regulatory reporting are built into the platform, not bolted on.
Operational SLAs
Service-level agreements govern application processing times, disbursement speed, collections response, and system uptime. Performance against SLAs is reported to the partner on a defined cadence.
Responsible Lending
Products designed with transparent pricing and repayment structures calibrated to borrower capacity. Restructuring offered before escalation. Annual external audit of lending practices and portfolio health.

Target Regions

Copper Hive Group is evaluating partnership opportunities across markets where consumer credit remains structurally underpenetrated and where regulatory frameworks support responsible lending operations.

Markets under evaluation: South Asia · Southeast Asia · Central Europe

We remain open to conversations with licensed operators in other jurisdictions where the fundamentals — demographics, mobile infrastructure, regulatory maturity — support the deployment of our operating model.

How It Works

1

Introductory Conversation

An initial discussion to understand your license, market position, and objectives. We share our operating model and assess mutual fit.

2

Due Diligence

Both parties conduct due diligence. We evaluate the regulatory environment, market opportunity, and operating conditions. You evaluate our capital, technology, and track record.

3

Structuring

Partnership terms are defined: capital deployment schedule, operating responsibilities, reporting cadence, governance structure, and exit provisions. Legal documentation is prepared for both jurisdictions.

4

Go-Live

Technology platform is deployed and configured for local product rules and regulatory caps. Operating team is assembled, compliance frameworks are implemented, and origination begins under the agreed parameters.
